Established in 1995, Alta Vista is an exclusive gated community in Mossyrock, WA.
Perched high upon the southern bluffs of Riffe Lake along the Cowlitz river in southwest Washington State,
Alta Vista offers stunning viewpoints of the nearby Mossyrock Dam (the tallest dam in the state).
Located between Mount Rainier and Mount St. Helens, owners in Alta Vista can enjoy easy day trips to these popular destinations as well as swimming, boating, camping and world-class fishing in nearby lakes and ponds.
The Alta Vista community consists of fifty lots and is governed by the Alta Vista Homeowners Association (AVHOA).

The AVHOA is governed by a three (3) member Board of Directors (President, Treasurer and Secretary). The term is one year and officers may be elected to consecutive terms. We invite all members of the Alta Vista community to consider serving on the Board. For more information, please reach out to any current board member.

President
The president’s job is primarily to serve as the association’s spokesperson and to lead board meetings.

Treasurer
The treasurer’s responsibilities function almost entirely around the financial and accounting aspects of the HOA, from assisting with yearly budgeting plans and reports for the HOA to collecting and maintaining dues payments from both residents and association vendors.

Secretary
The HOA secretary acts as the record-keeper of the association. Keeping association records is important and often mandatory. The secretary is also responsible for preparing and sending out meeting minutes, communicating with residents, validating documents, and filing any necessary forms for the HOA.
